How to fix malformed iTunes backup

When extracting from an iTunes backup it's possible you get an error like below:

Error Code : 11 (SQLITE_CORRUPT)
Caused By : The database disk image is malformed.
 (database disk image is malformed (code 11))

This means your iTunes backup is corrupted or damaged in some way. It usually happens with very large backups, but could have happened for a number of reasons. It can be fixed in 2 ways:

  1. you can delete all previous iTunes backups then perform a brand new iTunes backup to extract again
  2. if it still doesn't work, just send us the Manifest.db for manual fix, as shown below or by manually uploading it on Dropbox/GoogleDrive/WeTransfer
