Post-migration

It happens sometimes that WhatsApp adds a status message (yellow background) stating that your conversations are now encrypted or that you're being added back to groups. Such status messages, added after the migration, could mess up the correct order of the conversations, but unfortunately nothing can be done, as they're status messages inserted by WhatsApp itself.

Anyway, if you scroll through the conversations, you'll see all your messages were imported!

Android handle medias in a more advanced way than the iPhone, meaning that you don't need to enable any "Save to gallery" option in WhatsApp, like you had to do in your old iPhone. This is because Android gallery indexes and shows any media on your phone, regardless of the app they're coming from.

Android è predisposto per mostrare nella Galleria tutti i media presenti a sistema, quindi mostra anche tutti i media importati con WazzapMigrator, sebbene siano già visualizzabili nelle normali conversazioni WhatsApp. E' possibile nascondere i media di WhatsApp utilizzando l'app Nomedia (gratis sul Google Play Store), un'ottima app capace di escludere determinate cartelle dalla Galleria.

You can safely delete the whole WazzapMigrator folder after the migration was completed. Media will be already copied over to WhatsApp folder so no need to keep it there anymore. Just make sure to not delete anything in the WhatsApp folder!

Update december 2017: WazzapMigrator automatically hides the media from the Android gallery, just delete the WazzapMigrator folder and restart your phone.
